Worship

At St Peter’s, worship includes Communion, Morning Praise, and All Age services, led by members of our Leadership Team.

This year, we’ve been delighted to see a new All Age Service team take shape. They now plan and lead the service on the first Sunday of each month, bringing together both adults and young people and giving more people the chance to be involved.

It’s been really encouraging to see more people stepping forward to do readings, lead prayers, and help with Sunday School over the year.

We’ve also enjoyed introducing new worship songs, including some with signing to make our services more inclusive for those who are deaf.

One of the real highlights of the year was hosting the deanery confirmation service, led by Bishop Tim. It was a very special occasion, especially as seven people from our own congregation were confirmed.
